Restaurant Manager
Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring our food and beverage offerings are consistent, top-quality, and delivered to customers quickly
Setting and maintaining a high standard for customer service and a quick resolution of customer concerns
Training and supervision of servers, bussers, food runners, and bar staff
Monitoring & ordering of inventory
Providing a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Previous restaurant management experience is recommended
Experience with restaurant POS systems (Toast)
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a warm, professional, friendly attitude with the public and foster a positive work environment for staff.
Experience in planning and supervising events, weddings, and groups, is a plus.

Events & Weddings Manager
The Flying Bridge Restaurant is well known for hosting spectacular Cape Cod wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, business events, and entertainment. We’re looking to hire an exceptional weddings & events manager who can work with our customers and consistently deliver outstanding experiences.
Job Description:
Wedding & Event Development
Answer new customer inquiries, host site visits, and work with prospective customers to define their event details
Create comprehensive and accurate banquet event orders
Represent The Flying Bridge Restaurant at bridal shows and develop relationships within the local business community
Work with our in-house marketing team to create a consistent pipeline of leads for weddings and events
Planning & Coordination
Assist customers in planning events within their budgets and preferences, including food and beverage service, décor, entertainment, catering, hotel accommodations, and transportation
Be knowledgeable of wedding and event trends and develop creative options and partnerships for extending our service offerings
Event Management
Provide on-site management of event logistics on event day, including itineraries and coordination of staff, guests, and vendors
Ensure all events follow health and safety protocols
Ability to recruit, train, schedule, and manage an events team, including servers, bussers, and bar staff.
Requirements
Ability to deliver consistent quality in event planning and execution
Previous restaurant and events experience with a high-volume venue
A friendly, helpful, professional attitude and communication style
This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to provide leadership and work seamlessly with the management team.
Additional restaurant management responsibilities will also be required.
